Advanced endodontic care focused on preserving your natural teeth

For more than 23 years, I have helped patients from Colombia and abroad preserve their natural teeth through advanced endodontic treatment, including complex situations in which previous treatment has not resolved the problem or the tooth may be at risk of being lost.

My philosophy is simple: if there is a reasonable possibility of saving a tooth, we will evaluate that option first.

Every case is different. Our goal is to make an accurate diagnosis and determine whether there is a treatment option that may allow us to preserve the tooth before considering other alternatives.

I combine clinical experience, advanced technology, and a conservative treatment philosophy to provide precise, safe care focused on preserving the natural dentition whenever possible.

Every patient receives an individualized evaluation, a clear explanation of their condition, and a treatment plan designed with the best possible long-term outcome in mind.

Does a root canal hurt?

With modern local anesthesia and current treatment techniques, root canal treatment can generally be performed in a controlled and comfortable manner. Some temporary tenderness or discomfort may occur afterward while the tissues surrounding the root recover.

Symptoms can provide useful clues, but they are not enough to establish a diagnosis. A proper evaluation combines the history of the pain, a clinical examination, diagnostic tests, and appropriate imaging.

Treatment time depends on the tooth, its anatomy, the diagnosis, and the complexity of the case. A straightforward root canal and a complex endodontic case may require very different amounts of time. In many cases, treatment can be completed in a single appointment of approximately 90 minutes, although this varies by case.

After root canal treatment, the tooth may require an appropriate definitive restoration. The final restoration is important to protect the tooth and restore its function.

There is no single answer for every patient. When a tooth can be treated and predictably restored with a reasonable prognosis, it is worth evaluating whether the natural tooth can be preserved before considering extraction.

Yes. In selected cases, endodontic retreatment may be possible. The first step is to determine why the previous treatment did not heal or develop as expected.
